My name is Jeff Poulles alias Jepo

​

I'm an autodidact painter from Luxembourg, born in 1986.

I usually paint with acrylic colours on canvas or paper.

​

I started painting in 2014 at the age of 27 with the challenge to paint artworks on my own. My first piece is dubbed <<The Fire>>.

My inspiration was to paint a fireplace for my flat.

​​My artwork is inspired by my innermost thoughts, feelings, dreams, moods and all the positive and negative things in my life from past to present. I am also a passionate saxophone jazz player. Painting for me is like playing a jazz solo or telling a story that hasn’t been written. It comes straight from my heart, mind and soul. Like a fire inside that wants to come out, that wants to be expressed with colors. 

My genre is expressive and figurative, in some way abstract.

The technique is like the fire or furry.

By the years I gave my art a second name SAVE MY WORLD, inspired by climate change and conflicts in the world.
